 ITINERARY

In the early morning, Journey To Luxor our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor where you will be met by your tour guide, Then we'll take you crossing the Nile reaches to the west bank of Luxor, where the richest and most famous necropolis in the world are situated, the Valley of the Kings, inside the valley the famous tombs of the Pharaohs are cut into the living rock, some contain fine paintings with their splendor still preserved, the most famous is that of Tutankhamen, discovered on November 1922.

The Temple of Hatshepsut

Then proceed to visit Deir El Bahari, one of the most splendid temples in ancient Egypt, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut around 1500 BC

The Colossi of Memnon 

Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of king Amenhotep III that are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone which exist in Cairo and then moved 700 KM to Luxor, The two statues Know as the Colossi of Memnon, Rising about 18 M from the plain, They are the remains of what was once the largest complex on the west bank, Built by Amenhotep the Third. 

The Alabaster Factory

The alabaster industry is one of the unique Egyptian crafts that developed and sustained through the sequential generations since ancient Egyptians. It represents the major source of income for many artisans working mainly in the west of Luxor. Yellow limestone, black granite, basalt, marble, and the national marmar are the most prominent materials used in this craft, brought from the mountainous region in “Qurna village” located on the west bank of Luxor, where the artisans live beside the temples and ancient civilization symbols to produce Pharaonic antiques fascinating tourists from different worldwide nations.

Lunch in between visits at a Local Restaurant.

After, Lunch Continue the East Bank tour to see the two Temples Karnak and Luxor, which were dedicated to the cult of Amun!!, the temple of Karnak consist of numerous buildings build and added to from time to time by the various Pharaohs right up to Roman times, then Drive to the Luxor Temple to see its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses II.

NB: there is a possibility of entering any of the King Tutankhamen Tomb at Valley of the Kings But this can be added in the middle of the booking process because it requires additional fees Your tour will end around 5:00 PM  and if you would rather fill the time with additional activities your guide will be happy to make it happen for an extra cost.

Finally, you will be transferred to your  hotel in Luxor
